Cook Helper (Part-time Position): Carbondale Community High School District 165 is accepting applications for a part-time Cook Helper for the 2017-18 school year.  The rate of pay is $9.53 per hour. Teacher Aides and Hall Monitors: Carbondale Community High School District 165 is accepting applications for Teacher Aide and Hall Monitor positions for the 2017-18 school year. 

A valid Illinois Professional Educator License registered in Jackson County is required for these positions. 

The teacher aide rate of pay is $10.23 per hour.  

The hall monitor rate of pay is $12.14 per hour.

                 Substitute Employment Opportunities

Substitute Teachers
Carbondale Community High School District 165 is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers for the 2017-18 school year. The Substitute Teacher daily rate of pay is $82.00 (including TRS). Substitute Teachers are employed on an as needed basis. Substitute Teachers are paid by direct deposit on the 25th of each month for the days worked the preceding month. The following documentation is required to be placed on the district roster of Substitute Teachers:

1. Completed Substitute Teacher Employment Packet

2. Copy of Regional Office of Education #30 Substitute Teacher Authorization Form

3. Copy of Fingerprint-Based Criminal History Background Investigation Results (ISP and FBI)

4. Copy of Physical Health Examination.
