 NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

CHESS CLUB will meet after school today in room D200 (Tuesday, January 18th).

TABLETOGAMING CLUB has been CANCELED for Tuesday, January 18th (J Taylor).

STUDENT COUNCIL will have a short meeting tomorrow in the cafeteria after school at 3:10 pm.  We will be discussing dress up themes for winter spirit week (Wednesday, January 19th).

ART CLUB will meet every other Wednesday after school from 3 to 4 in A100, this semester, starting tomorrow (Wednesday, January 19th). We will talk about planning some activities for the semester so be there if you are interested. Everyone welcome.

CREDIT RECOVERY for required class failures from last semester will start today (Tuesday) and Thursday from 3:15 pm-4:45 pm for this semester.  Please report to room B202 in the Library by 3:15. The late bus is running if you need transportation.

TRACK AND FIELD: Track and Field will resume workouts this week on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:20-5:30 pm. We will meet outside the driver Ed room and be prepared to go outside.

BLACK HISTORY CLUB: Dancers, Models, and Singers will meet this Thursday, January 20th @ 3:30 pm in Mrs. Allen’s Room.

BRENDEN BANZ led the way for the Terrier Wrestling team this past weekend placing 1st at Mahomet.  Aiden Taylor placed 3rd, Cole Young placed 10th, Thomas Imboden placed 15th and Jasper Stanwood placed 18th.  Great tournament!

CONNER BENNETT advanced from the Regional Bowling tournament and will compete in the Sectional tournament in Alton on Saturday.  Good luck Conner, way to represent CCHS!

 PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

POETRY OUT LOUD COMPETITION: The school will be hosting a Poetry Out Loud Recitation Contest on Friday, January 21st. The first and second place winners will move on to Regionals for a chance to advance to state and nationals where they could win cash prizes. If you are interested in competing, please check your email for more information or speak with Mrs. Godinez in room C213. There will also be an informational meeting this Friday after school in C213.
