NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS: Today, Friday, December 6th, is the last day for Student Council members to RSVP for the Student Council Holiday Party.  Check your CCHS email for the link to sign up to attend the event on Tuesday, December 10th.  We will have a nacho bar and work on a community service project. 

BOYS’ BASKETBALL: Tonight’s home Boys’ basketball is jersey night.  JV starts at 6:15 pm and Varsity at 7:30 pm.

FRENCH TRIVIA NIGHT is tonight, Friday, December 6th at 5:30pm in the CCHS cafeteria! Francophone food will be provided, and you are encouraged to decorate your party's table to have an additional chance to win prizes. The cost of attending is $8/person, $24 for a table of 4, and $30 for a table of 6. Tickets will be sold at the door. 

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Second semester schedule change requests are due TODAY, Friday, December 6th. Email your request or write a note to your class counselor with details about which classes to drop and to add. Changes will be reflected in Tyler by December 20th. Remember that not all requests are possible or granted. No requests will be accepted in January unless there is an error on your schedule.

WINTER BLEACHER BUM SHIRTS can be picked up across from the cafeteria during both lunch hours today, Friday, December 6th and in the student activities office after school.  You must wear your Bleacher Bum shirt or bracelet to gain free admission to the games.

ATTENTION STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS:  Today is the last day for Student Council members to turn in toiletry items for Terrier Giving in the Student Activities Office.

TONIGHT'S GAME against Mt. Vernon is Jersey Night.  JV starts at 6:15 pm and Varsity at 7:30 pm.  Let's pack the stands! 

FOOTBALL BANQUET: This is a reminder we will have our football banquet Sunday, December 8th at 3:30 PM in the cafeteria. We will be handing out conference championship shirts. Shirts will not be issues to anyone still owing equipment and will be held back till equipment is turned in. Players still owing equipment can bring it to the banquet Sunday.

HISTORY FAIR STUDENTS: There will be a short meeting after school on Tuesday, December 10th to check your progress.  Please be ready to discuss your topic and your research up to this point. 

SENIOR CLASS SHIRT ORDERS must be turned into the Principal's Office no later than 3 pm on Thursday, December 12th.  The order will arrive before holiday break. 

STUDENTS! You have worked hard all semester and we want to reward you for that hard work! TerrierFest is next Friday December 13th.  We will have Inflatable bounce games, food, music, and other fun activities!  Remember, eligibility to attend includes: 85% attendance, no more than 5 disciplinary referrals, no more than one ISS, can't be on social suspension, and can't have any OSS for the semester. More details to come!  

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Any students attending tonight’s Basketball Game must be out of the Gym and Gym Foyer Area 30 minutes after the conclusion of the games.   Make sure your rides are here to pick you up.  We will be closing down the Gym at the time for clean-up.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

KEY CLUB: Key Club will be selling Candy Cane grams outside of the cafeteria during both lunches this entire week. Pay 50 cents and you can have a candy cane delivered to someone special with a personal message from you. Candy Cane grams will be delivered Friday, December 13th.

GERMAN CLUB has a field trip coming up on Saturday, December 14th.  We will be taking the Amtrak to Chicago to visit TWO Christmas markets.  All German Club members, friends, and families are welcome to come.  For more information and permission slips, see Ms. Bassett in the world languages hallway, room J105.  

SCIENCE JAM…Save the date: Study jam for Science final exams Monday, December 16th from 3-5PM in room D201. Sponsored by the Science Club.  Food, science teachers and plenty of individual help. 

15 DAYS REMAIN TO BUY A 2020 YEARBOOK for the 1st semester price of $60.  Orders can be made online at www.balfour.com or in the yearbook office (across from Terrier Care) before school, during lunch, or after school. Yearbooks will go up to $65 after December 20th.

SENIORS: Need help or have a question about completing the FAFSA? Visit the Counseling Office today! Check your email for more details. All college-bound seniors are encouraged to complete the FAFSA.

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB: Quill magazine is looking for students to submit poetry, short stories, artwork, photography, and all things creative. Submit your work to cchsquill@gmail.com by January 10th to be published in Quill magazine. Please see Ms. Bachman in C213 for any questions regarding Quill.

JUNIORS:  Thank you for your participation in the Prom Theme Poll.  The theme for Prom will be “A Night in Paris” Prom will be held on April 25th at the Civic Center.  Please stay tuned for more information on Prom in the coming months.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT TERRIER TUTORING! Terrier Tutoring is your secret weapon in getting the best grades in your classes. We are open 3:15 to 4:45 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in rooms B202 and B204 in the Media Center. We are ready to help you in math, science, and English!
