NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

JUNIORS: Please check your school email for a message from Mrs. Murphy related to her classroom visits with you this month. You'll also find valuable information about making the most of your summer in this message as well as tips about what you can do this summer to most effectively manage your to-do list related to college and career decision making during senior year!

TODAY THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES OFFICE will have an end of the year clearance sale during both lunch hours across from the cafeteria.  Short sleeve t-shirt for $3 and long sleeve for $5.

TERRIERFEST STUDENT SURVEYS: Tomorrow is the last day to take the Terrierfest Student Survey.  Please check your CCHS email for the link.  If you are having trouble finding the email, type Terrierfest in the search mail and people box inside of your email.  A drawing for gift cards from the names of those who took the survey will take place on Tuesday.  Winners will be announced Tuesday morning. 

ATTENTION FBLA - Our End of the year party is TODAY, Thursday, May 24th, after school in Mrs. McGee's Room!!  Stop by and get some cake and ice cream!

TRIVIA NIGHT: Global Initiative is hosting a Trivia Night today, Thursday, May 24th, starting at 3:30 in the cafeteria. The cost to enter is $5 per person with up to 4 people on a team. The winning team will get a cash prize of $40. All proceeds from the event will be donated to ongoing hurricane relief in Barbuda. For questions, see Mr. Merriman or Peter Huh.

MEDIA CENTER:  Please return all library books to the Media Center by this Friday, May 25th.

BOWLING: For anyone interested in bowling next year, there will be a meeting in the auditorium immediately after school on Tuesday May 29TH.  If you are unable to make it to the meeting, please stop by G100 and see Coach Ritter.

GOOD LUCK TO THE BASEBALL TEAM as they travel to the Herrin Regional to take on Massac County at 4:30pm.

PRIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS:

RECYCLING: The recycling program will have its last collection day today, Thursday, May 24th, of this week only.  Please place bins outside of classroom to help speed the recycling of materials so that the whole school may be recycled daily.  This will be our last week of recycling due to exams next week.   

FOOTBALL: There will be a table outside the cafeteria handing out information for anyone interested in playing football, this Friday, May 25th, during both lunches. If you are going to be absent Friday, please see Coach Lee.

ATTENTION SPEECH TEAM:  The end-of-the-year party will be this Sunday, May 27th, from 2-4 in the auditorium.  Make sure you check your email and RSVP by today (Wednesday by 3:00pm). Thank you.

FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS will be given Wednesday, May 30th from 12:30-3:30 in the gym.  Any students thinking about participating in summer workouts and/or playing a sport next school year should take advantage of this free service.  You will need to bring a completed physical form on the 30th.  That form can be picked up outside of the Athletic Offic

HOMECOMING 2018: The votes have been counted and the 2018 Homecoming Theme is Glow in the Dark/Neon Paradise.  Thank you so much to all who took time to vote.

THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES OFFICE will be having an end of the year t-shirt clearance sale during both lunch hours on Thursday across from the cafeteria.  T-shirts will be on sale for $3, $5 and $7.  Stop by and check it out. 

ATTENTION SENIORS: The 8 semester green transcript request form is outside the Registrar's Office.  Remember to stop by and fill the transcript form out to ensure that your Final Transcript will be mailed to the college of your choice.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Clark.

DIAL YEARBOOK: Only nine copies of the 2018 DIAL Yearbook remain left for purchase. Stop by the yearbook office with $65 to buy.

FREE DUAL ENROLLMENT OPPORTUNITIES are available for the Class of 2019 and 2020. Do you have at least a 2.25 GPA? If you do, did you know you can take up to 8 credit hours per semester during the 18-19 school year for free through JALC? Check your email & see your School Counselor for details!

TERRIER TUTORING: If you need help on your homework and Yahoo!Answers isn't making any sense, come to Terrier Tutoring! We actually know what we're talking about when it comes to math, science, and English. Come to the media center computer labs TODAY from 3:15 to 4:45.

AMERICAN FLAGS: Please check your homes for old flags that need to be retired.  Our local Boy Scott Troop is currently collecting them. You may drop them off at the Principals Office.  Thank you.
