Financial Aid Night Info - Fall '17

Financial Aid Night covered the A-Z for how to pay for college. Remember that step one is to complete your FAFSA, which you can do here beginning October 1st. www.fafsa.gov

FAFSA completion assistance is available every Tuesday with our ISAC partner, Jasmine Robinson, and we are hosting a FAFSA completion night on October 18th for seniors and their parents in the media center. Students and parents can sign up for a meeting time with Ms. Robinson in the main counseling office before or after school or at lunch in order to receive a pass out of an elective class to work on the FAFSA with support available.

Students and parents must have an FSA ID before beginning the FAFSA, and you can do that ahead of October 1 here: https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm

If your schools are seeking information from the CSS profile, go here for detailed directions and assistance with this process: https://student.collegeboard.org/css-financial-aid-profile

Ask questions of Ms. Ruiz, Ms. Robinson and me and be sure to contact school specific financial aid offices as needed. Financing college is a massive part of the college decision making process, and there is a lot of help available to you each step of the way!
